Meet Our Artists

Bruce Whaley

Bruce Whaley was already drawing the farm animals, trucks and tractors, from his rural Ontario environment, at 6 years of age.

Katherine Hicks

A native Albertan and home-grown artist, Katherine’s love for the arts began with “Pierre Trudeau with Rose” while still a budding teen.

Shirley McIntosh

Shirley McIntosh has lived in Leduc all her life and always admired art and thought how wonderful it would be to be able to make such beautiful paintings. It wasn’t until later in life, when a good friend suggested she take up painting, she decided to give it a try.

Haley Anderson

Haley Anderson is a young adult artist with developmental disabilities. She resides at Wizard Lake in the county of Leduc. She attended an UP (Unique Perspective) class at the Leduc Art club a few years ago and discovered she really enjoyed it and has learned to appreciate the gifts along the way.

Kristine Anderson

“Why do I paint, it is for the pure, painful, pleasure of it. Painting brings a challenge of seeing, really seeing and observation. I paint because I love it and just cannot stop.”

Holle Hahn

A long time resident of Alberta Holle has been interested in the Arts from a very early age.

Never one to take herself too seriously, she likes to focus on Colour, composition and humour in her paintings.

Liz Ekstrom

Liz was born and raised on a farm near Warburg, Alberta. She attended Warburg High School which is where her art projects were first on display throughout her tenure.
